Tell a Vision
Well today’s wordsplit is a real eye opener.
Television. Tell a Vision or more specifically Tell Vision. The perfect hypnotic cue.
What an authority it has become, whatever the Tell Vision tells us, we accept it verbatim, but if a person tries to actually physically tell us what to think or believe we are far less likely to listen. In many cases the person behind the mask, or is that the screen, would be difficult to accept face to face. “Be quiet the TV’s telling me what to think and I believe it!” or “Shush, I’m concentrating”. Trance like behaviour is the giveaway and any intrusion that breaks the programming is treated with scorn. Hmmm, programming, it’s an interesting word especially if it’s taken solely in brainwashing terms.
The only choice we really have with Television is in choosing what we’re told.
Such huge levels of concentration wasted on a daily basis worldwide. It swallows up a huge human resource, on average, at least 2.5 hours per person per day. Billions of people and not only that the human life hours wasted being programmed by It. After all, its generally only Terror Vision these days anyway. My young daughter recently said to me, “Daddy, why hasn’t the News got an Adult’s only rating?” Good Question, but in our wisdom we’ve put it slap bang right in the middle of what would otherwise be family time.
The results of the trance like conditioning are without question. Depression at record levels yet spending is way up. And how else could a whole nation spend more than it earnt cumulatively and then call it retail therapy. Yet it’s the gospel of democracy, “Freedom to spend as you please”. The deep trawl has had a toll and lives have been lost by it. But look the Malls are bursting at the seams, as the multitudes dance to the puppet strings of the marketeers, or is that Market Ears as they live their lives out in accordance with their whims.
Yet virtual life is not the real life. The truth does not lie and Tell-a-Vision exposes the deep motivations behind the machine itself and the reason why it causes such behavioural changes to those of us who watch it.
